What does a kinesiology session look like?
The kinesiology session can be conducted in person and online. Kinesiology is safe and suitable for adults, children, and animals.
At your initial consultation, we get to connect with each other, and I will go through your past health history and ask what you would like to work on as a priority. We will discuss how you are currently feeling physically and emotionally and then set an intention of how you would like to feel at the end of the session. Once I have gathered enough information, we get you comfortable on the massage table, face up fully clothed. We then commence muscle testing which means I will gather further information of emotional imbalances that we will correct with natural remedies.
The initial consultation is the longest approximately 90 minutes – sometimes a little longer.
Follow up sessions are for one hour, as I already have your health history.
All the information that you share in this session is confidential and not shared with anyone, unless instructed by the client.

How will I feel after my session?
There is no right or wrong way to feel after a session and every client has a different experience. Most clients feel very positive, relaxed and ‘chilled’ after a session, some feel lighter and full of energy. But it is quite normal to feel emotionally tired, like you have had a mental workout, which you may have had. You may have old thoughts coming to the surface, but this is short lived, just give yourself time. It is important to remember that your energy is shifting, resolving, and resetting.
Just remember that regardless of how you feel after a session, a reaction is a good thing, it is energy moving, emotions moving and emotional blockages shifting to allow optimal health and wellbeing.

How many sessions will I need?
You will feel positive benefit after the first session, but from my experience you will gain optimal benefits from a series of sessions. I usually recommend 3 sessions to begin with to ensure that the energy balance holds.
1. Initial consultation
2. 2-3 weeks after the first session
3. 4-6 weeks after the second
4. 6-8 weekly for maintenance
This is only a recommendation, sometimes we need to connect more frequently to keep working on balancing the stressor.
Kinesiology is peeling away the layers from our subconscious. We store a lot of past information up there, and this is not always a quick fix. The deeper we delve into the emotions, the more positive benefit and change will occur. -
How often should I have a kinesiology session?
The frequency of kinesiology sessions is as unique as you are. Typically, we recommend a follow-up session around 2 weeks after your initial session. This ensures we are maintaining the energetic balance and provide continuous support as you and your body navigates through stressors.
Subsequent sessions may follow on a regular basis as we gently remove layers of your specific concerns and unveil the root cause. It’s a journey, a gradual unwrapping of your well-being. You will feel the transformation shifts with each session, embracing a newfound sense of balance, control and positivity to your health and wellbeing.
The approach of revisiting the root cause. The idea of seeking remedies based on the body’s wisdom adds a personalized touch to the process, reinforcing that healing is not a one size fits all approach. Some clients choose to have kinesiology sessions on a regular basis as a part of their wellbeing practice.

Does kinesiology work for children?
Kinesiology is an effective natural therapy for babies, young people, and teens as well as animals and adults.
Yes, children are great to work with and respond very well to kinesiology. Depending on their age and how active they are will depend on how I can treat them.
If your child is younger that 7 years, please get in touch with Juli by phone or email to discuss your young person’s suitability for a kinesiology session and our best options.

What is the difference between the conscious and subconscious mind?
Conscious : The conscious mind involves all the things you are currently aware of and are thinking about. It is somewhat akin to short-term memory and is limited in capacity. Your awareness of yourself and the world around you are part of your consciousness.
Subconscious : The subconscious mind is the part of the mind that is not in the state of awareness. This part of the mind contains the memory bank, thought generators, emotions generators, a sensory input controller and a dedicated storage of habits.
